Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Ayodeji Arojo, the Transit Chief Operating Officer salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $141,000. Funding for this position is available within Metro's 2023 operating budget.

Body

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Ayodeji Arojo to the position of Transit Chief Operating Officer and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Arojo

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Arojo’s appointment to the position of Transit Chief Operating Officer is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Arojo.
