PREAMBLE

 

Engineering Division and Department of Transportation submitted an application for Federal funds under the 2022-2026 WisDOT Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) authorized by resolution RES-22-00065, File ID 68627, approved on 1/18/2022 by the Common Council.

 

The project to construct shared use paths on Badger Road and N Rusk Avenue was awarded a federal grant under the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) that will reimburse 80% of participating construction costs to a maximum of $666,960.

 

Design will begin in 2023 and construction is scheduled for 2025. 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation for construction, construction oversight and cost sharing for the Badger Rusk Shared-Use Path project.
