Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Rachel Johnson, the Transit Chief Administrative Officer salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $135,000. Funding for this position is available within Metro's 2022 operating budget and is included in the 2023 executive operating budget.

Body

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Rachel Johnson to the position of Chief Administrative Officer and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Johnson

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Johnson's appointment to the position of Chief Administrative Officer is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Johnson.
