Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and James D. O’Keefe, the Community Development Division (CDD) Director’s salary will be based on an annualized rate of $141,308, effective October 17, 2022. The CDD Director position is approved and funded in the 2022 adopted operating budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Submitting the appointment of James O’Keefe for confirmation of a five-year term as the Community Development Division Director.
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed James O’Keefe to the position of Community Development Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. O’Keefe
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. O’Keefe’s appointment to the position of Community Development Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. O’Keefe.
