DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This ordinance amendment rezones City-owned property located at 432 S Junction Road from A (Agricultural) District to SE (Suburban Employment) District to facilitate construction of the western terminal for the east-west Bus Rapid Transit line.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:

 

                     1.                     Map Amendment 00595 of Section 28.022 of the Madison General Ordinances is hereby created to read as follows:

 

“28.022-00595. The following described property is hereby rezoned to SE (Suburban Employment) District.

 

Part of lands acquired by the City of Madison per Document Nos. 4864302, 4867808 and 4880403, said lands being located in part of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (1/4) of Section 27, Town 7 North, Range 8 East, City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at the North Quarter Corner of said Section 27; thence S00°47’57”W, 1324.82 feet along the west line of the said NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4; thence N89°25’49”E, 1281.50 feet along the south line of the said NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4; thence N 00°44’39” E, 164.65 feet; thence S89°40’48”W, 49.47 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence S89° 40' 48"W, 254.76 feet along the south line of lands described in said Doc.
