Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution recreates the salary schedule for Compensation Group 23 related to Assistant City Attorneys. The updated schedule will start at Step 3 of the current schedule. Additional costs for a new attorney compared to the current schedule will be $9,000 to $14,000 depending on the hire's years of experience. Only one current attorney is below a Step 3 in the existing schedule and will be repositioned based on the updated schedule.
