Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution recreates an Arborist 1 position as an Arborist 2. The estimated annual salary increase is $3,000 to $3,400. Recreating the position is anticipated to reduce the need for out-of-class pay that is issued when an Arborist 1 performs work at the Arborist 2 level. Any additional costs in 2022 will be accommodated within Streets’ existing budget authority. The position will be filled through an internal promotional process.
