I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION COMMISSION
JASMINE C. BANKS (6th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Kevyn C. Radcliffe. Jasmine Banks is a program manager with Operation Fresh Start.

BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS
BEN D. WILLIAMS (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a five-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Madelyn Leopold. Ben Williams is the director of business development and member services for the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. He is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast with experience in non-profit management, community well-being and health.

JIM GLUECK (5th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Architect. First appointed 4-17-2012.

TIFFANY D. MALONE (7th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Matt Phair. Tiffany Malone currently holds the First Alternate position and has served since 6-21-2022.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES COMMISSION
KAT TAN (15th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Bernard Gallagher. Kat Tan is a medical student at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health where she also serves as a student representative on the Medical School Association Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She also currently works as a retail & hospitality associate at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens gift shop.

MADISON PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
THOMAS A. DECHANT (13th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident succeeding Jaime A. Healy-Plotkin. Thomas DeChant is a former president of the Madison Public Library Foundation and the current president of the Friends of Goodman South Madison Library. He recently served on the City’s Urban Design Commission.

CINDY L. FESEMYER (6th A.D) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. First appointed 11-22-2016.

MONONA TERRACE COMMUNITY AND CONVENTION CENTER BOARD
STEVEN M. PETERS (1st A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of City Alternate succeeding Chet Gerlach. Steven Peters served as a Dane County Board Supervisor from 2018 to 2022 and was the County Board representative to the Monona Terrace
Community and Convention Center Board during that entire time. He also served on the Dane County Airport Commission.

SYLVIA MOSS (16th A.D.) - reappoint to a one-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. First appointed 7-5-2016.

SISTER CITY COLLABORATION COMMITTEE
JENNIFER C. JOHNSON (4th A.D.) - appoint to the position of Sister City Representative. Jennifer Johnson is a member of the Madison-Cusco Sister City Alliance (MCSCA) and a current board member of Mundo Esperanza, the founding organization of the MCSCA.

SUSTAINABLE MADISON COMMITTEE
SUSAN B. MILLAR (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Common Council or Resident Member succeeding Ald. Regina Vidaver who assumed a position on the Finance Committee. Susan B. Millar currently holds the First Alternate position and has served since 2-1-2022.

SAMANTHA M. WORDEN (20th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Common Council or Resident Member succeeding Ald. Tag Evers who assumed a position on the Finance Committee. Samantha M. Worden currently holds the Second Alternate position and has served since 2-1-2022.

LANCE E. GREEN (15th A.D.) - reappoint to a two-year term to the position of Member. First appointed 10-18-2011.

RILEY P. WILLMAN (4th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of First Alternate succeeding Susan B. Millar who is assuming a regular Member position. Riley Willman is a senior elections specialist with the State of Wisconsin Elections Commissions and is a former legislative assistant. He participated in the 2019 Climate Reality Leadership Corps training sponsored by former Vice President Al Gore’s The Climate Reality Project.

XANTHE Z. SAALMANN (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a two-year term to the position of Second Alternate succeeding Samantha M. Worden who is assuming a regular Member position. Xanthe Saalmann is a student at Madison Country Day School. She served as the school’s representative on the Dane County Youth Environmental Committee and served on the school’s Social Awareness & Activism Club.

SHANE A. BERNAU (11th A.D.) - reappoint to a three-year term to the position of Graduate Landscape Architect. First appointed 3-5-2019.

AMANDA T. ARNOLD (10th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Resident Member succeeding Thomas A. DeChant. Amanda Arnold is an urban planner with Ayres Associates. She is educated in both landscape architecture and urban planning and was a principal planner for the City of Minneapolis.
