Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for work related to the W Main St Bike Boulevard Improvements project. The estimated project cost is $775,000 as shown below. The funding required is in the 2023 Capital Budget request in the W Main St Bike Boulevard Improvements project and the Pavement Management program. Any contract award would be contingent upon approval of the requisite funding in the 2023 Capital Budget.

 

W Main St Bike Boulevard Improvements (Main Street Improvement - Munis 13015; Pavement Management - Munis 10540)

Total Cost = $775,000

Federal Funds = $180,000

City Cost = $595,000

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for W Main St Bike Boulevard Improvements, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
