Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plans and seeks bids for work related to the Fairchild Building Improvement project. The estimated project cost is $2,350,000. Approximately $1,250,000 funding is available in the 2022 Adopted Capital Budget in project 11078. The remainder of funding required is in the 2023 Capital Budget request in the Fairchild Building project and the Energy Improvements program (Munis Project #10562). Any contract award would be contingent upon approval of the requisite funding in the 2023 Capital Budget.

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Fairchild Building Improvement, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
