Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Gregory P. Mickells, the Library Director’s salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $155,338 effective September 4, 2022. The Library Director position is approved and funded in the 2022 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Submitting the appointment of Gregory P. Mickells for confirmation of a five-year term as the Library Director.
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Gregory P. Mickells to the position of Library Director and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mickells
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Mickells appointment to the position of Library Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Mickells.
