The Glen Golf Park Programming Update

Glenway Golf Course was closed for renovations starting May 2020 as a result of a generous gift from Michael & Jocelyn Keiser to implement recommendations from the Task Force on Municipal Golf that sought to improve playing conditions for all levels of players, improve environmental sustainability and increase public access to the course. The Board of Park Commissioners adopted The Glen Golf Park’s Programming Plan on March 9, 2022. The City entered into a Donation and Construction agreement with the Madison Parks Foundation for improvements of The Glen House. The Golf Park reopened for play on July 1 and a Community Grand Reopening Celebration was held on July10. Staff will provide an update on the status of the golf park and The Glen House renovations, as well as implementation of programming plan.
