Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Mahanth Joishy, the Fleet Service Superintendent’s salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $141,308 effective August 2, 2022. The Fleet Service Superintendent position is approved and funded in the 2022 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Mahanth Joishy to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent and has recommended to the Common Council that their appointment be confirmed; and,
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Joishy
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Joishy appointment to the position of Fleet Service Superintendent is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s Office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Joishy.
