The proposed resolution authorizes Common Wealth Development Inc as the fiscal agent for Southwest Madison Action Coalition for their 2022-2023 Neighborhood Grant project. Funding of $4,250.00 for this project was previously approved by adopted RES-22-00308 (File ID 70629) on April 25, 2022. No additional City appropriation is required.

WHEREAS the Common Council approved the 2022-2023 Neighborhood Grant Program awards on April 25, 2022 (Resolution No. 70629, RES--22-00308), and in that resolution authorized a grant to Southwest Madison Action Coalition for Build, Connect & Advocate for Southwest Madison project; and
WHEREAS, since that time, Southwest Madison Action Coalition has indicated they need to use a fiscal agent and would like to utilize Common Wealth Development Inc as the fiscal agent for their $4,250.00 grant award with Southwest Madison Action Coalition completing project work in adherence to the Conditions/Comments of the adopted recommendations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby approves Common Wealth Development Inc to be the fiscal agent for Southwest Madison Action Coalition’s project as follows: "Common Wealth Development fiscal agent for Southwest Madison Action Coalition” and authorizes the Planning Division Director to execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Madison and to effectuate said grant upon countersignature of the Finance Director.
