Title

Authorizing City Engineer or designee to sign the Intel Corporation Nondisclosure Agreement required to use certain software as part of a flood alert system. (Citywide)

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Madison Stormwater Utility is participating in the Smart Urban Water Demonstrator project to explore development a flood alert system; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Madison Stormwater Utility is exploring the use of Intel Corporation and its Affiliate’s Ell Framework for the dashboard component of the flood alert system; and

 

WHEREAS, a nondisclosure agreement is required to be signed to use Intel Corporation and its Affiliate’s Ell Framework; and

 

WHEREAS, the nondisclosure agreement will be reviewed by the City Attorney’s office for compliance with City rules and policies; and

 

WHEREAS, the nondisclosure agreement’s duration is for five years from the receipt of the Ell Framework.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Engineer, or their designee, is authorized to sign and submit a nondisclosure agreement with Intel Corporation to use its Affiliate’s Ell Framework software, in a form and manner that is approved by the City Attorney
