Amending Section 15.02 of the Madison General Ordinances to update Alder Ward Boundaries resulting from State Redistricting.

DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS: This ordinance modifies ward boundaries as required by adoption of State redistricting maps and Wis. Stat. § 5.15(4).

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
1. Section 15.02 entitled “Wards and Ward Boundaries” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended as follows:
“15.02 WARDS AND WARD BOUNDARIES.
For the purpose of local elections beginning April 6, 2022, wards and ward boundaries are established as follows and as shown on a map entitled “City of Madison Alder Districts and Wards, November 10, 2021 April 6, 2022” on file in the Office of the City Clerk. Ward polling places are initially established as follows but may be modified for each election by resolution.
