SUBSTITUTE: Adopting a Boards, Commission, and Committees (BCC) Member Self-Evaluation Form to Improve the Communication and Equitable Engagement of Members
Body
WHEREAS, self-evaluation is a handy and powerful tool to maintain and continually improve excellence in governing; and,
WHEREAS, the goal of the BCC Self-Evaluation Form is to increase awareness and enable the BCC to maintain and improve the quality of its collective leadership; and,
WHEREAS, the Water Utility Board currently uses a self-evaluation form at its meetings; and,
WHEREAS, the BCC self-evaluation form will facilitate continued development of its capacity to effectively communicate and equitably engage its members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Madison adopts the ordinance creating 33.01(9) of the Madison General Ordinances establishing the use of a self-evaluation form for all Boards, Commissions, and Committees.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City of Madison also adopts the BCC Self-Evaluation Form and instructions to be used to satisfy MGO 33.01(9).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council hereby adopts the BCC Self-Evaluation Form and instructions to comply with MGO 33.01(9).
