Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes an addendum to the Employee Agreement between the City of Madison and Charles J. Romines to include the services and duties of Public Works Team Leader. The contract addendum results in an annualized increase in base salary of $15,000. If adopted, the contract addendum will be effective beginning April 19th, 2022.  Funding for the increased cost of the contract addendum for the remainder of 2022 is available within the budgeted salary amounts authorized in the Adopted 2022 Operating Budget for the Streets Division due to significant salary savings resulting from vacancies.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Rhodes-Conway has assigned Charles J. Romines to perform the duties of Public Works Team Leader; and

 

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Addendum to Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Addendum to Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Romines.
