Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes awarding the contract for the Streets West Badger - Roofing Alterations at a total estimated cost of $37,800 including contingency. Funding for the project is available in the Green Power Program (Munis 13836-403-140). No additional appropriation is required.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that, if the low bidder fails to execute the contract within 10 days of being provided the notice of award of contract by the CITY, the bid for the next lowest responsible bidder is accepted and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the second low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
