Sec. 66.0907(3)(b), the property owners adjacent to sidewalks in need of repair or replacement in the 5th Aldermanic District, repair or replace the sidewalks, or parts thereof, in full compliance with the Madison General Ordinances governing such construction or repair. (5th AD)
Body
WHEREAS, in Legistar No. 69482 (RES-22-00118), the Common Council authorized the Board of Public Works to exercise its authority under Wis. Stat. Sec. 66.0907(3)(b) to order property owners within the 5th Aldermanic District who are adjacent to sidewalks in need of repair or replacement to repair or replace the sidewalks, or parts thereof, in full compliance with the Madison General Ordinances; and,

WHEREAS, City Engineering has caused the sidewalks within the 5th Aldermanic District to be inspected, the results of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS HEREBY ORDERS that, based upon the authority granted to it by the Common Council and by Wis. Stat. Sec. 66.0907(3)(b), the property owners adjacent to the sidewalks in need of repair or replacement in the 5th Aldermanic District, as identified on the attached sidewalk inspection results, repair or replace the sidewalks, or parts thereof, in full compliance with the Madison General Ordinances governing such construction or repair. City Engineering shall cause notice of this Order to be served upon the property owners as required under Wis. Stat. Sec. 66.0907(3)(c).

EDITOR’S NOTE: Parcels in the 5th Aldermanic District are subject to deletion due to work being done by other City of Madison Contracts, utility work, or other circumstances which justify deletion.
