Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for 2022 Inclusive Playgrounds. The estimated project cost is $960,000 which includes purchase of playground equipment by City of Madison. The Public Works contract (to install equipment & construct associated site work) is $646,000. Funding is available in MUNIS project numbers 13934-51-130 and 13935-51-130.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                      That the plans and specifications for 2022 Inclusive Playgrounds, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                      That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said projects.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
