Board of Health for Madison and Dane County Resolution #2022-06 Authorization to Accept Additional Funds from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services to Support the Overdose Data to Action Project

Body

Public Health Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes the acceptance of additional funding from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services through the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Community Prevention Grant. The goal of OD2A is to strengthen and enhance the capacity of communities to prevent morbidity and mortality associated with opioid overdoses. These additional funds will be used to support salary and fringe expenses for the OD2A Coordinator.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County on behalf of Public Health Madison and Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health, or their designee, to accept and sign the contract funding in the additional amount of $15,992 in the 2022 budget.
