Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications and authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for the Madison Police Department East Fencing Project. The total estimated cost of the project is $60,000. Funding is available in the Police Building Improvements project (MUNIS 13342). No additional appropriation is required.

Body
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1) That the plans and specifications for MPD East Fencing, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the City Engineer and Finance Director are hereby authorized to obtain and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any documents required for remediation, testing, inspection and consulting services as necessary for the Project in accordance with MGO Ordinances and City Policy, on a form and in a manner that has been approved by the City Attorney and Risk Manager.
4) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept
dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
