Kathy Roznowski is retiring on January 3, 2022 after 28 years of service to Madison and Dane County. She began her career on June 7, 1993, and initially worked at the City of Madison Public Health in a variety of public health clinic aide capacities including Well Child Clinics, Refugee Clinics, Immunization Clinics and WIC clinics.

Kathy was fortunate to be an Immunization Clinic Aide during two major pandemics: the 2009 H1N1 pandemic and the COVID 19 pandemic. She assisted the agency with a variety of public health activities, working at mass immunization clinics, assuring PHMDC had adequate supply of vaccine and immunization supplies, assuring vaccines were maintained at proper temperatures, pulling vaccine reports from WIR and assisting with COVID contact tracing administrative support.

Kathy has been a key member of the Immunization Program. She was expert in everything WIR from pulling reports, inventory coordination, data entry, resetting passwords and creating new user accounts. She assisted the Immunization Coordinator and Immunization Supervisor by prepping documentation for Vaccine For Children site visits from the State Immunization Program and pulling key reports for State grant objectives.

Kathy was instrumental in coordinating the Employee Health program from scheduling employees for tests, obtaining immunization records, coordinating and tracking annual flu shot campaign, coordinating payment to employee health vendors and helping PHMDC employees stay up to date with employee health requirements.
