Authorizing the City of Madison Stormwater Utility to accept an Urban Water Quality grant from Dane County in the amount of $10,000.00 for the construction of a bioretention basin at Dudgeon Park. (13th AD)
Body
WHEREAS, City Engineering has applied for a Dane County Urban Water Quality grant for up to $10,000.00 requiring a fifty percent match; and
WHEREAS, This project will allow for the construction of a bio-retention basin treating parking areas at Dudgeon Monroe Park; and
WHEREAS, This project is supported by the Friends of Lake Wingra, the Parks Department and the neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, City Engineering would like to proceed with this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1) That the City of Madison, through City Engineering, is authorized to accept the grant from Dane County.
2) Be it further resolved that the City of Madison, through the City Engineer, is authorized to sign and submit the following: grant agreement, reimbursement claims, interim and final reports, and additional forms as required
3) The Stormwater Utility 2021 Capital Budget is herby amended to add $10,000 grant expenditures and Dane County grant funding
