Request from Brittingham Boats to replace and slightly reposition existing deck to better support watercraft rental

Brittingham Boats, LLC has operated under a Use Agreement with the City of Madison since 2013, offering watercraft rentals and placemaking in Brittingham Park. Brittingham Boats is requesting permission to replace and improve the deck at Brittingham Boats. The current deck is in poor to failing condition and is not suitable for use for the 2022 season. Deck size will remain 56 ft X 16 ft, and shift slightly to the west, allowing more beach access than currently exists. Brittingham Boats is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits and approvals for the project.
