The proposed resolution fills a vacancy on the President’s Workgroup on Racial Justice, Antiracism, and Equity and extends the deadline for the Workgroup's final report and recommendations. No appropriation is required.

Body
WHEREAS, Resolution RES-21-00355 (#65269) created the President’s Workgroup on Racial Justice, Antiracism, and Equity; and,
WHEREAS, Alder Jael Currie has resigned from the Workgroup; and,
WHEREAS, the Workgroup was given until December 31, 2021, to complete its Final Report and Recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council confirms Alder Barbara Harrington-McKinney to fill the vacancy on the Workgroup left by Alder Currie.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Common Council extends the deadline for finishing the work of the President’s Workgroup on Racial Justice, Antiracism, and Equity to March 31, 2022.
