Authorizing acceptance and appropriation to the 2021 Operating Budget a $13,738.88 donation from the Friends of Sequoya Library to purchase patio furniture.
Body
WHEREAS, the Madison Public Library Sequoya branch receives support in the form of donations raised by the Friends of Sequoya Library; and,
WHEREAS, the patio furniture at Sequoya branch was in need for replacements; and,
WHEREAS, the Friends of Sequoya Library graciously agreed to support the purchase of new patio furniture; and,
WHEREAS, the Madison Public Library is grateful to the Friends of Sequoya Library for their support.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2021 Madison Public Library Operating Budget is amended to appropriate $13,738.88; and,
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, the Madison Public Library is authorized to create the necessary 2021 Operating Budget amendment to add the appropriation of the donation funds.
