Fiscal Note
As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Matthew W. Tucker, the Building Inspection Division director’s salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $127,500 effective July 11, 2021. The Building Inspection Division director position is approved and funded in the 2021 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body
WHEREAS, Mayor Rhodes-Conway has appointed Matthew W. Tucker to the position of Building Inspection Division Director and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Tucker,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Tucker's appointment to the position of Building Inspection Division Director is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Tucker.
