Title
Amending Sec. 33.05(5)(b) of the Madison General Ordinances to Update the Membership of the Warner Park Community Recreation Center Subcommittee.
Body
DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS: This ordinance updates the membership of the Warner Park Community Recreation Center Advisory Subcommittee. The update eliminates the representative from the Northside Planning Council and the two youth representatives - appointments which have been difficult to sustain. It also changes the name of the North/Eastside Senior Coalition (NESCO), which, in 2019 merged with other local senior coalitions to form NewBridge Madison. The amendment adds one additional at Northside and at large appointment, in addition to allowed designees of certain officials to join the subcommittee. Finally, the amendment specifies that the Facility Director may participate in subcommittee discussions, although they cannot vote and do not count towards quorum.
