Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes entering into a contract for purchase of services with Fitch-Rona Emergency Medical Services (EMS) District for ambulance support at the Alliant Energy Center (AEC) COVID-19 Vaccination Site. Starting March 16, 2021, Fitch-Rona EMS will provide an ambulance and two EMS providers, or a first response vehicle to be on site at the AEC vaccination clinic and available to support vaccinators in responding if an individual has an adverse reaction to the vaccine. The rate is $150/hour for the ambulance and personnel, and $75/hour for a first response vehicle and personnel. The duration of these services depends on vaccine availability to PHMDC.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the Director of Public Health to enter into a contract for purchase of services with Fitch-Rona Emergency Medical Services District for ambulance support at the Alliant Energy Center COVID-19 Vaccination Site.
