Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution reduces one CDA Security Monitor positon from 1.0 FTE to 0.6 FTE and creates a new CDA Security Monitor at 0.6 FTE. The proposed change will result in having 1.2 FTE instead of 1.0 FTE with an annualized cost of approximately $28,000, including benefits. CDA Housing does not receive any General Fund support and will fund the increase with applied fund balance.

Amending the 2021 Adopted Operating Budget for CDA Housing - Public Housing, recreate the 1.0 FTE position (#4762) of CDA Security Monitor as a 0.6 FTE position, and create a new 0.6 FTE position of CDA Security Monitor within the CDA Housing operating budget.

WHEREAS, CDA Housing had a 0.6 FTE CDA Security Monitor as part of the 2020 operating budget; and
WHEREAS, the approved operating budget for 2021 increased the FTE of that position to 1.0; and
WHEREAS, the current operating needs of CDA Housing require 2 0.6 FTE positions;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2021 Adopted Operating Budget is amended to increase applied fund balance, salaries, and benefits by $28,000 in the CDA Housing - Public Housing service; and
BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED, that position #4762, of CDA Security Monitor is recreated from a 1.0 FTE position to a 0.6 FTE position, and a new 0.6 FTE position of CDA Security Monitor is created within the CDA Housing operating budget, thereof.
