The proposed resolution amends the Community Development Authority (CDA) 2020 Adopted Operating Budget to accept and appropriate $9,997 of additional funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Public Housing Capital Grant Fund Program. No additional City appropriation is required.

Title

Amending the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget for the Community Development Authority - Public Housing to accept and appropriate $9,997 of Public Housing Capital Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). 

Body

WHEREAS, HUD has revised the amounts of Capital Fund Program (CFP) Formula Grant awards to include an increase in FY 2020 CFP; and

 

WHEREAS, the funds appropriated by HUD are to be used for 2020 Capital Fund Grant eligible items; and

 

WHEREAS, the eligible use of funds is outlined in the Capital Fund Grant Program which the CDA already utilizes at the majority of its properties; and

 

WHEREAS, the CDA was allocated $9,997 for Capital Fund eligible activities which have already been planned for in the CDA’s CFP annual plan;

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2020 Adopted Operating Budget is amended to accept and appropriate $9,997 of Public Housing Capital Grant funds from U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
