I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments for introduction and adoption under suspension of the rules.
POLICE AND FIRE COMMISSION
WILLIAM GREER (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a five-year term to the position of Adult City Resident. Mr. Greer is a mental health consultant. He is a licensed professional counselor and clinical social worker with more than 40 years of experience as a mental health professional, consultant and trainer. He is the former CEO of Journey Mental Health Center, Inc. Mr. Greer is also an author who recently wrote and published a historical fiction novel. Mr. Greer has served on numerous boards including 100 Black Men of Madison and Kojo Productions. He succeeds Nia Trammell.

POLICE CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT BOARD
*Note: per Madison General Ordinance 5.20, “Members shall have staggered four-year terms, except when the Board is initially created and filled, five (5) members shall be appointed for four-year terms, three (3) members shall be appointed for three-year terms, and five (5) members, including the two (2) alternate members, shall be appointed for two-year terms.”
SHADAYRA KILFOY-FLORES (6th A.D.) - appoint to a four-year term to the position of Community-based Organization Representative. Shadayra Kilfoy-Flores was nominated by the Community Response Team.

ANANDA DEACON (4th A.D.) - appoint to a two-year term to the position of Community-based Organization Representative. Ananda Deacon was nominated by Freedom, Inc.
