Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes a renewal of the cooperative agreement with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission (CARPC) to investigate water resources within Madison via the Dane County Cooperative Water Resources Monitoring Program in years 2021 through 2025. The following amounts are the City’s cost in each year of the agreement:
2021: $19,992
2022: $20,384
2023: $20,776
2024: $21,168
2025: $21,560
The proposed 2021 Stormwater Utility Operating Budget includes funding to support the payment to CARPC (MUNIS 84125-54645).

RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement 2021 through 2025 renewal with the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission for the investigation of water resources within the City of Madison through the Dane County Cooperative Water Resource Monitoring Program. Said agreement renewal covers the period of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2025, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Financial Director be authorized to make payment to the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement. Said payment to be made from Account No. 84125-54645.
