The proposed resolution would recreate position #4299 as a Landscape Architect 4 and reallocate the incumbent. The annualized cost of the proposed resolution is $4,987 including salary and benefits. The impact on the 2020 Parks budget is approximately $2,078. Based on 2nd Quarter projections, the Parks Division has an overall projected deficit of approximately $131,000, primarily due to a projected deficit lost revenue due to COVID. The Parks Division will likely need a 2020 operating budget amendment to cover the projected revenue deficit in FY 2020, notwithstanding the proposed recreation of position #4299.
