Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes an employment contract with Justin Stuehrenberg to serve as the General Manager for Metro Transit. As stated in the employment contract. Mr. Stuehrenberg will receive an annual salary totaling $142,000. The General Manager position is fully funded with Metro’s 2020 Adopted Operating Budget. Other one-times costs included in the contract (i.e. relocation expenses) will be funded by salary savings in Metro’s 2020 budget.

WHEREAS, Mayor Rhodes-Conway has appointed Justin Stuehrenberg to the position of Transit General Manager and has recommended to the Common Council that his appointment be confirmed; and
WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Stuehrenberg,
NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Mr. Stuehrenberg's appointment to the position of Transit General Manager is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Stuehrenberg.
