Proposed Dog Free Locations in the Madison Park System and Dogs in Parks Update

Due to oversights in the Proposed Dog Free Locations in the Madison Park System (Legislative File #59474), staff recommends the following edits to the list and to the map. Five additional dog free locations, Sugar Maple Park, Period Gardens Park, Esther Beach Park, Doncaster Park, and Dudgeon School Park were added. Staff recommends Cardinal Glenn Park be removed from the dog free list. Forest Hill Cemetery, which was no dogs allowed was changed at the February 2020 BPC meeting to allow dogs on-leash on paved roadways only and staff has posted signs to reflect this.
