Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract North Addition to Grandview Commons - Phase 1, Private Contract No. 2394 (3rd AD)
Body
WHEREAS, the MREC VH Grandview Commons, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in: North Addition to Grandview Commons - Phase 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
1. That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (excluding bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted.
2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA
A) Total Contract Value (including Engineering
and Miscellaneous Costs) $ 256,461.51
B) Contributions in Aid of Construction:
a) Public Sewer Components $ 256,461.51
b) Sewer Laterals $ -0-
C) Investments in Capital (MSU Share) $ -0-
D) Total Plant Value $ 256,461.51
3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service".
Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A” $288,587.26.
4. That the street improvements, excluding the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:
• Alton Drive from Driscoll Drive to SE Line of Lot 817
• Driscoll Drive from Milky Way to E Line of Lot 799
• Jackson Quarry Lane from Milky Way to W Plat Limit
• Milky Way from Milwaukee Street to S Lin of Lot 916
• Ragan St from Milky Way to NE Line of Lot 806
• Outlot 39 Alley from Driscoll Drive to Ragan Street
The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 10235 $402,762.88 for a useful life of 40 years.
