Contemplated closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.85(1)(c) to discuss
and take action, if appropriate, regarding employment, promotion,
compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over
which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility;
specifically:
i. Act on preliminary recommendation of the Acting Police Chief for the appointment to the rank of Police Officer of the individuals named on the Final Hiring List, as soon as an offer of hire may be communicated, and each on a probationary basis pursuant to Rule 4(e)(v), and with continuing appointment subject to a final recommendation by the Acting Police Chief and final Board approval pursuant to Rule 4(e)(v) and Wis. Stat. § 62.13(4)(a), which are reserved for 18 months from the effective date.
ii. Act on the contingent preliminary recommendations of the Acting Police Chief for appointments from the Eligibility List of the individuals named in the Contingency Hiring List, in the order shown thereon and as vacancies in the academy class allow, upon the same terms and conditions above.
