Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plans and specifications for pavement replacement for Fish Hatchery Road at a total project cost of $29,500,000. The proposed resolution authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with the City of Fitchburg for cost sharing for this project. Under this cost sharing agreement, the City of Madison Engineering Major Streets would pay $458,000, the Madison Water Utility would pay $114,000, and the City of Fitchburg and Dane County would pay the remaining $28,928,000. The 2020 Adopted Capital Budget includes funding for pavement replacement of Fish Hatchery Road under the Engineering Major Streets Pavement Management program (MUNIS 10540) and the Water Mains Replace Rehab Improve - Pavement Management program (MUNIS 11894).

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Fish Hatchery Road Pavement Replacement, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
4) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into agreements with the City of Fitchburg for cost sharing.
