Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution amends the deadline for the President’s Work Group on Administrative Procedure Memoranda and approves changes or additions to the Common Council Policy Guide that are recommended as part of the charge to the Work Group. Any changes to the guide will be made using existing resources. No appropriation required.

Amending the deadline for the President’s Work Group on Administrative Procedure Memoranda and revising the charge to the Group.
Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19-00641, Legistar 56914, a President’s Work Group to study and report on the application of Administrative Procedure Memoranda (APM) to members of the Council (Work Group); and,
WHEREAS, the Work Group has been meeting, needs additional time to complete its work, and desires to extend the deadline to finish its work from March 31 to July 31, 2020; and,
WHEREAS, application of some of the APM will require additions or modifications to the existing Common Council Policy Guide,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the deadline for the Work Group to complete its work is extended to July 31, 2020; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in doing its work, the Work Group may recommend changes or additions to the Common Council Policy Guide, and such recommendations are approved as part of the charge to the Work Group.
