Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution would create four new classifications to develop a Construction Manager career series including the following positions: Assistant Construction Manager 1 (18-6), Assistant Construction Manager 2 (18-8), Construction Manager 1 (18-10), and Construction Manager 2 (18-12). It would also recreate two existing Construction Manager positions (4623 and 4522) to the Construction Manager 2 position.
The annualized cost of the proposed reclassification is $34,279 (including benefits). The increase will be absorbed by Engineering's 2020 Operating budget. No additional appropriation is required.

Create new classifications of Assistant Construction Manager 1 & 2 in CG18, R6 and 8, and create new classifications of Construction Manager 1 & 2 in CG 18, R10 & 12 respectively and delete the existing classification of Construction Manager in CG 18, R10. Recreate the two Construction Manager positions #4623 and #4522 as a Construction Manager 2 and reallocate the incumbents to the level of Construction Manager 2.

Be it further resolved that positions #4623 and #4522 of Construction Manager are deleted and recreated as Construction Manager 2 and current incumbents, D. Schaller and M. Schuchardt are reallocated to the Construction Manager 2 positions, in the Engineering operating budget, respectively.
