Board of Health Resolution #2019-33 Authorization of Transfers within the 2019 Operating Budget
Body
Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) 2019 Operating Budget includes $18.5 million in projected spending across four divisions. This resolution includes a series of transfers within PHMDC to reflect projected spending levels through the end of the fiscal year; all proposed transfers are net neutral. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to move funds within appropriations during a fiscal year (IGA, VIII, G).
Transfers
· Administration: Transfer a total of $11,755 from Administration Conferences/Trainings and Special Projects Consulting to Hardware to support the purchase of staff computers to replace those out of warranty.
· WIC: Transfer a total of $8,457.35 from Community Health General Consulting and Conference/Training to WIC Work Supplies to support the purchase supplies that will improve the clinic environment and appointment experience for program participants.
· Immunizations: Transfer a total of $5,883 from TB and ACD Conference/Training and $3,200 from ACD Program Supplies to Immunizations Conference/Training to support travel and training costs for new team members.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the transfer of the amounts as outlined within the department.
