Staff will provide overview of four (4) basic municipal golf operational models and discuss examples of each from comparable programs around the country. Presentation will include operational and capital details of Lincoln, NE, St. Paul, MN, Austin, TX, Cedar Rapids, IA, Portland, OR, Chicago, IL and Janesville, WI. Attached articles provide additional context for the four basic models.
Staff will share market analysis and history of golf in Dane County as it relates to number of holes and population since 1950. Further assessment will show trend as it relates to national and state golf data.
