Fiscal Note
The 2020 Adopted Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) includes $1.5 million for the Troy Drive Underpass project. This project will replace an existing sidewalk underpass on Troy Drive on the City’s north side. The proposed amendment transfers existing appropriation from the Bikeways program to begin design work on the project.

Body
Whereas, The City of Madison, has begun design on the Troy Drive Underpass Project; and
Whereas, this project was initially funded through the bikeways program; and
Whereas, a new stand alone project was identified in the 2019 Engineering Bicycle & Pedestrian Budget; and
Whereas, this budget amendment will transfer funds from the Bikeways Program (10138) to the Troy Drive Underpass project (11868);
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2019 Engineering Bicycle & Pedestrian Capital Budget is amended to transfer $70,000 in GO Borrowing appropriation from the Bikeways program to the Troy Drive Underpass project.
