Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes accepting funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on behalf of the Division of Public Health to support the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Specifically, PHMDC proposes accepting $9,930.00 to renovate and improve the PHMDC WIC clinic space. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to accept and spend grant funds (IGA, VII, F, 1-3).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the Director of Public Health to accept $9,930.00 for infrastructure improvements for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children Program.
