Adopting and confirming Revisions Nos. 6, 7, and 8 of the Madison General Ordinances as of September 15, 2019 to incorporate the changes pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 66.0103.

DRAFTER’S ANALYSIS: This ordinance updates the Madison General Ordinances through September 15, 2019. In lieu of referring this ordinance to the subsequent Common Council meeting, we are requesting the Common Council adopt this revision ordinance under suspension of the rules. This procedural change will make the new MGO text available to the public more quickly.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
All of Revision Nos. 6, 7, and 8 of the Madison General Ordinances, as of September 15, 2019, incorporating the changes made by Ordinance Numbers ORD-19-00001 through ORD-19-00065 are hereby adopted in its entirety and Volumes I, II, III and IV as revised through September 15, 2019 be confirmed in all respects.
Revision Nos. 6, 7, and 8 are published in pamphlet form by direction of the Common Council of the City of Madison, in accordance with Wis. Stat. § 66.0103.
