Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes an amendment to an existing contract for design services for the total amount of $22,245.00. The new contract as amended will total $385,0383.00.
Authorized funding for $22,245.00 is available the adopted 2019 capital budget provides for $7,570,000 in GO Borrowing and Stormwater Utility reserves for the Citywide Flood Mitigation program (MUNIS 11513).

PREAMBLE
The City of Madison Engineering Division is proposing to conduct watershed and flood studies for the west and near west sides as a result of extreme rain events over the past several years. The City entered into an agreement with Brown and Caldwell for design services (RES-19-00206). The City Engineer requested additional design services and recommend that they be undertaken by Brown and Caldwell for the West Wingra Watershed Study as defined below:
1. Complete engineering design work as necessary to widen the Southwest Bike Path near Waite Circle. Work includes regrading and extending the culvert.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and Amendment 4 to the contract between the City of Madison and Brown and Caldwell for additional design services for West Wingra Watershed Study.
