Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution creates a career series ladder for the Asset Manager classification. The annualized cost of the proposed reclassification is $9,357 (including benefits). The impact on the 2019 budget is approximately $2,339. Costs associated with the reclassification will be absorbed within the agency’s 2019 budget.

Recreate the current Asset Manager, position #4523, to an Asset Manager 2, and reallocate incumbent S. McClure into the new position at the Water Utility.

Resolution deleting the classification of Asset Manager in CG18, R10 and creating a new classification series of Asset Manager 1 in CG18, R10 and Asset Manager 2 in CG18, R12. Be it further resolved that position #4523, currently identified as an Asset Manager, is deleted and recreated as an Asset Manager 2, CG18, R12, in the Water Utility Operating budget, and incumbent S. McClure is reallocated to the new position, thereof.
